Dr. Chris Neal is the newly appointed Director of Bands at McMurry University. He directs the McMurry Marching Band and conducts the Symphonic Band. Additionally, he teaches courses in the Music Education sequence, including Orchestration and Arranging, Instrumental Practicum, and Brass Methods. Neal comes to McMurry from the Esther Boyer College of Music at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he was Director of Athletic Bands and Assistant Professor of Music Education. Previous appointments include faculty positions at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX and Waco High School in Waco, TX.
