Buffy Scholar/Critic

Amy L. Montz is currently working on her Ph.D. in English Literature and a minor concentration in Women's Studies at Texas A&M University. Her areas of interest include the Victorian novel, issues of women's bodies, particularly in 19th century England, popular and consumer cultures, and monstrous maternity. Strangely, all of these areas of interest appear, at one time or another, in Buffy or Angel, which only goes to prove that they are the smartest shows on television.
