Buffy Scholar/Critic

Dr. Oliver Krüger teaches Comparative Studies of Religion at the Institute for the Scientific Study of Religion at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). His main research is on new religious movements, religion on the internet, science and religion (posthumanism) and sociology of media. Currently he works on the ritual discourse on the internet in the field of Wicca and neopaganism. On the Slayage conference he will give the paper: Buffy and its social and religious Consequences in Germany – Slayage, Teenage and supernatural Powerwomen.
