Buffy Scholar/Critic

Dr. Randi Eldevik received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University in 1987 with a dissertation on the Old Icelandic Trójumanna saga, and then joined the English faculty at Oklahoma State University, where she is currently an Associate Professor. Her research interests include comparative mythology, the epic genre, and the reception of the Classical tradition in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. She has published numerous articles on Scandinavian and English literature and is the translator of the English edition of Torfi Tulinius's book on Icelandic sagas, La matičre du Nord.
