Challenge #57...Submitted by MD:

The Scoobies, ( Feel free to exclude or include someone, like a character from the Angel series.) by some means are sent to the past ( Victorian, London.) when Spike 'William' was just a boy ( He can't be any older than twelve, but no younger than seven years old.).

They come across him unexpectedly while they are stumbling around Past London trying to figure out a way back home. During their stay, they encounter William more than a few times and he either helps them out or they save him somehow. They witness some of the horrible treatment of children in Victorian times ( e.g The punishments in schools, children working, the execution of children, laws and just general cold-hearted behavior.) They struggle not to intervene since everything done is ( Unbelievably to them.) legal.

When they do find a way back to the future they have developed a parental/older sibling relationship with the little human Spike, and find it extremely hard to say goodbye, and want to bring him back with them. I'll leave it up to you to decide if they do or don't.

You get to decide if human Spike had a poor childhood or a rich one.

Suggested ideas:
- Witnessing a public hanging ( Don't think that they would stay to watch though.).
- Encouraging William with his poetry ( Even if it's awful.).
- People thinking that the girls are prostitutes from they way they are dressed.
- Changing William's beliefs that he's evil for being left handed, and telling him that the teachers a wrong for punishing him because he of it.
- If you include Xander, you could have him try to ride a High-Wheel Bicycle, I can just see him falling off.
- And I'd really like to see some fluffy moments between the Scoobies and little William, if you could.

One of our heroes (Spike or Buffy) is captured, sold as a slave and bought by… the other one of our heroes. What is the new owner going to do? To free his/her slave, to cuddle and hold him/her as a pet, or to treat him/her cruelly? Later, slave and master (or mistress) end up in bed together. But will it happen after a sweet and irresistible seduction or through the assertion of the owner’s mere right on what belongs to him/her? And does the slave willingly submit or does he/she fight (in vain) to protect his/her dignity?

The story can be setted in an alternate universe in which slavery is normal or in our world. In case you choose the second, you should make this slave traffic credible in our democratic age (it could be vampires secretly dealing in humans or vice versa, unleash your creativity!)

How does the slayer react to a mother that doesn't know about slayers and vamps and a vampire determined to encourage her mother's efforts?

1. Buffy trying desperately to keep her mom from finding out about her chosen status
2. Spike discovering his feelings for Buffy earlier than in canon. (Set maybe season 2-3)
3. Buffy finally giving in and agreeing to a date (much to Spike's surprise)

Can haves:
1. Angel jealous that Joyce likes Spike
2. Buffy plotting fun little ways to stake Spike without Joyce seeing, but her daydreaming keeps turning naughty
3. Angel starting a fight and Buffy defending Spike

-Buffy finding out and coming straight to Hogwarts, Angel following her
-Willow CANNOT come to Hogwarts or get with any of the males there, as there are enough fics devoted to that sort of situation already
-Buffy having an odd and/or strong pet that acts as a faithful companion
-Hermione getting mad at Angel for insulting Spike and decking his lights out

At some sort of magic show, Spike and Buffy get handcuffed together and the handcuffs have a spell cast over them or something so they cannot get them off unless they break the spell. Spike and Buffy also don't get along at first but it ends Spuffy.

Buffy gets her powers taken away by some demon or other evil thing.
Spike saves Buffy after she gets beaten up when she realized she lost her powers.
Buffy doesn't know Spike saves her but other Scoobies know.

Spike teaches Buffy to fight.

They start having sex without the Scoobies knowing.

Would like to see a story where Buffy is the one that falls head over heels for Spike, and he's the one that is against it, at first, of course. Starting in the Season 2, Spike decides he's had enough of living with Angelus, he decides to help Buffy 'save the world'. Instead of leaving with Dru, he stays and helps Buffy send Angel to hell. She leaves, but Spike stays to help the Scoobies, so when Buffy returns after spending time in LA, she comes home to Sunnyhell being protected by Spike. Can follow storyline from there.

Fantasy- Spike is a lifeguard.  He saves Buffy from drowning during a storm.  Buffy has no where to go, so she stays there with Spike and his family for awhile. Feelings start to develop.

-Faith is Spike's sister
-Spike's two best friends, Xander and Gunn, are lifeguards too
-Spike gets seriously hurt (but recovers later)

Buffy is like Willow when she turned evil. Including the magic.
Possibly set after Chosen but Anya and Tara have to be alive and there are no potentials.
Must have Angel, Riley and Spike in it. Riley and Sam got divorced and Riley wants Buffy back. Angel and Riley want to fix up Buffy because they think she'll choose them. Spike just wants Buffy back.
Must have Connor having a crush on Buffy.
Must have Dawn acting like she did in Season 5, like a whiner basically.
Must have the following pairings. Anya/Xander, Willow/Tara, Spike/Buffy. If you want a Buffy/other then make it temporary and make sure Buffy doesn't love the other guy.
Don't have Dawn involved with anyone.
Must have Buffy back to normal by the end.
Must be quite long, the longer the better. If it's long I tell my friends and they leave happy reviews!

Season 6 - Buffy wants to feel so The Powers That Be make her empathic. She becomes human/demon and Spike must help her learn to control her powers  so she won't go insane, they then develop a relationship (must be a healthy one no abuse on either part). The Scoobies find out and Xander acts like an ass about it. Riley still comes to town with his wife.   

Xander still leaves Anya at the alter and she begins to like Giles who also comes to help Buffy. Spike must be living with Buffy before Giles or Riley come to town. Also Buffy can become pregnant by vamps now because she half empath/demon so she get pregnant by Spike.

Nerd trio spell goes wrong with spike in the area.
William gets the upper hand of the vampire demon (Spike) inside his body so he is partly human. He starts living as a (normal) human (Scoobies don't know this) but Buffy is the only one that noticed that Spike is gone...and that new writer (or something like that..?) that moved in near her house looks a bit like him...And what is she going to do about it when the need spike for a spell to save the world....again.

Has to have:
-Spuffy (William or spike I don't really care.)
-AU or in a season just see what works best for you
-lots of Xander bashing
-Buffy has to miss Spike and does not like the new guy all that much in the beginning
-the scoobies really like William
-nerd trio almost spilling the secret (of the spell)
-William has to still be spike in a way (killing demons, English accent, not that nerdy) and he has to have a soul

Stupid challenge I know just make up something that works for you, I just want more William/Buffy stories. I really don't care how long it is but it has to have an happy, Spuffy ending. The Spawn of Spike

Requirements:

    Setting: AU of Season 5

    Pairing: S/B

    Length: Medium to Long.

Basic Plot Elements: 

1. A slight AU of season 5 and 6.  After Joyce dies, Buffy needs someone to take the pain away so she goes to Spike.  All the events that happened during season 6 (Buffy sleeping/abusing Spike) takes place during season 5.  Buffy is disgusted with herself for sleeping with Spike and breaks things off.  The Scoobies battle Glory and Buffy dies.

2. Six years later Buffy is resurrected to discover things have changed.  Giles is back in England, Xander and Anya got married and have kids, Willow and Tara are still together, Dawn's just finishing college and Spike has a 5 year old human daughter.

3.  Buffy is still disgusted with what she did with Spike but after watching the way Spike reacts with his daughter she slowly starts to have feelings for him.

Requirements-

1. How Spike got his daughter and who the mother is, is up to you.  But it has to be Spike's daughter and the mother has to be human. 

2. Spike is a really good father and his daughter cares for him.

3. Spike had to have cared for the mother.  The mother can be whoever you want it to be, it can be a BtVS/Angel character or it could be an OOC.  The mother could be either alive or dead, your choice.

4. The Daughter is completely human, she can be half vampire if you want her to be but she doesn't have any special powers or have to play a key role in some apocalypse.

5. Spike has to start out not being in love with Buffy, his love for her died when she was using him.  He has to start falling in love with her again.

6. Scoobies have to have accepted Spike.

7. Spike owns a house/apartment.  He doesn't live in his crypt anymore.

8. Story must be either R or NC-17 rated, hopefully NC-17.

Extras:

1. A Funny moment between Xander/Anya's kids and Spike's daughter.

2. Spike having a tea party with daughter and Buffy catches him.

3. Buffy jealous that Spike seems to be better friends with the Scoobies than she is.

4. Buffy arrives at Spike's place to see him and instead meets Clem who's babysitting Spike's daughter.

5. Buffy and Clem share a friendship moment while babysitting Spike's daughter and Clem tries to explain to Buffy (very subtly) that he's changed and not the same evil vamp she met back in School Hard.

Buffy and Spike are best friends since childhood. Both secretly loves each other but won't admit it. Buffy is a student photographer and Spike is a model. One time, Buffy discovers that spike might have feelings for her so she'd decided not to wait it out and take matters into her own hands. She tries to seduce him by asking him to pose for her nude. Note that She says she will not use his face and only parts of his body to make him agree and this leads to other things. I don't want this to be PWP. Want it to have a romantic and comedy twist to it.

I got this idea while watching Outback Jack.  William "Spike" Giles is looking for the love of his life. When his friends suggests that he turn to reality TV to find her, he reluctantly agrees.  Guess who need to be contestants:
1) Buffy Summers.... Duh!!
2) Cordelia Chase
3) Harmony.... you know who i mean
4) Drusilla... get her in there somewhere
You can have up to 16 contestants.

Challenge #22...Submitted by Lavender:

What if instead of Angelus being cursed with a soul, Spike was and it was then Spike who was sent to Sunnydale to help the slayer?  All people should be as they would be in the canon verse.  It must be touched upon how Spike gained his soul.  Did he eat the Gypsy Princess just to bug Angelus and get cursed because of it?  Did Dru make him go to the demon in Africa and face the trials to gain something he wanted but ended up with a soul?  Did his soul just not leave him when he was sired?  Is there a happiness clause?  Keep in mind how Spike acted after gaining his soul in season 7.  Be sure to remember how different his character is from Angel/Angelus.  It doesn't have to start in season 1.  It can start in any season but remember how different things would be if his character and Angel hadn't been there.  The current big evil of the season should be there if it would happen no matter if Spike or Angel was there or not such as the rising of the Master, the Mayor's ascension, Glory, and the Initiative.

I was just watching a rerun of Buffy (Normal Again) and something Spike said just clicked in my head. He said "Put some ice on the back of her neck.*pause* She likes that." Well I was thinking some smut with a tiny bit of plot thrown in around there. Some demon attacks Buffy, and leaves a scratch on her neck. She asks Spike to look at it for her and you get it from there. Basically demon attacks Buffy leaving a scratch, ice on her neck, and sex.

Remember all those cartoon-characters that had a little angel-self sitting on one shoulder and a little devil-self on the other, arguing - and sometimes outright battling - it out? Take a character from the show and write an argument between his or her angel and devil, about any subject you like! (And please feel free to turn it into a battle. *g*)

The gang is out on the town one night, when they encounter a portal-opening demon. One or more of the Scoobies are sucked through, and they end up in . . . real life! For instance, if Xander was sucked through, he would then find himself on the BtVS set surrounded by James, Alyson, Sarah, and the rest.

For an extra twist, perhaps the real-life person and the Buffyverse character completely switch places. That is, Nick Brendon would end up in Sunnydale.

Bloody History: Let's assume that during the summer following "The Gift", Dawn has to go to summer school. Now we know that Spike has been looking after her during that summer, so it is only logical that he would know about this and be around when she complains about school. Since we all know that there is nothing Spike wouldn't do for Dawn at this time, it is an easy thing for her to persuade him to help her with her history homework, and of course Spike gets a little carried away and recounts some historical events from his unique point of view. Your job, should you accept this challenge *g*, is to take one historical event, or period (doesn't have to be something from within Spike's "unlifetime", he could just have heard about and recount an earlier event), and tell Spike's version/opinion of it!

(As usual)  While patrolling one night she comes across Spike.  Challenge:  Find some way for Buffy to ask Spike to be there for her graduation.  Must include 3 or more of the following:
1. Buffy patrolling and threatens to stake Spike.
2. Spike without a shirt and wet (in the "I just had a shower" wet.:)
3. Xander bonding with Spike and hating Angel.
4. Angel losing soul again.
5. Buffy's dad shows up but Spike puts him in his place.
6. Buffy and gang caught using fake IDs at the Bronze by Spike.

She is very upset that he has not told her he was back. 

She finds out he slept with Harmony.

What if Dawn and Spike had been alone to deal with the newly resurrected Buffy? One possible scenario (but feel free to write your own): The ritual went undisturbed by the demonic motorcycle gang, but unbeknownst to the Scoobies, it had a time delay. They think it didn't work, leave the cemetery, and receive an urgent call from Angel asking for their help in LA. They leave almost immediately, Spike staying in Sunnyhell to look after Dawn who doesn't want to go.

Please try to answer the following questions:
How do they react to Buffy suddenly being alive again for no apparent reason (remember, they don't know about the spell!)?
When and how do they find out about the spell?
Does Buffy "come back wrong" in any obvious way?

Must have:
Spike taking care of Buffy's hands
Buffy or Dawn asking Spike to stay at their house
Buffy having nightmares and Spike comforting her
Spike telling Dawn how Buffy got the injuries on her hands

What if Buffy's demonic college roommate Kathy had succeeded in stealing her soul? What would a soulless slayer be like? How would she be able to survive without a soul? Would she get it back? How would this change her perception of demons in general, and Spike in particular? For this challenge, Spike is already neutered and living at Giles' home when the whole thing with Kathy happens.

What if, shortly after finding out he can hurt demons, Spike is severely injured while helping Buffy defeat a particularly nasty one, ends up in a wheelchair once again, and Joyce invites him to stay at the Summers' home until he is healed?
Must have:
- Spike realising he has feelings for Buffy
- Buffy trying to persuade Giles and/or Xander to let Spike stay with him
- Joyce babying Spike and totally ruining his "Big Bad" image
- Spike doing everything he can to sabotage the Buffy/Riley relationship
Extra bonus if you have Joyce threatening Riley with an axe when he finds out that Spike is Hostile 17 and tries to take him back into the Initiative.

Rewrite Season three with Faith as the one with the Scooby support group, and Buffy as the new slayer. Their background stays the same, but the roles are reversed. Meaning Angel is Faith's vampire boyfriend whom she had to send to hell, Giles is her watcher, Willow and Xander are her friends and Buffy has just been called a few months ago and her watcher has been killed by Kakistos, who is out there looking for her. Buffy has now moved to Sunnydale with her mother Joyce and Faith has never had a loving family. And on top of that have Spike already back in Sunnydale.

Put the characters from BtVS and AtS into the Big Brother House! Choose any characters you want, but please try to stay in the timeline you choose, i. e. if you place this in season 4, then there are no Dawn, Fred or Connor, Riley is still Buffy's boyfriend and Spike hasn't realized his feelings for the slayer yet. If you just can't help putting in characters out of timeline, then please give some explanation why the character is around. For information on the Big Brother rules, please search the internet because I have never watched the show.

Must have:
1. An explanation why they are going and what happens to the Hellmouth in their absence.
2. Some way to solve the whole "liquid diet", no reflection and sunshine problem (My suggestion: the producers are demons and know about Spike and Angel's "special needs". They get their blood somewhere where there are no cameras (didn't they have some kind of stable for chickens on the show?), the cameras are the latest digital models without any mirrors, there is only one mirror in the house, and it is not shown by the cameras, but has one behind it. As for the sunlight issue, well, be creative!)
3. Some kind of plot showing what's going on outside the house: viewers' opinions, press coverage, what happens to those who have to leave the house...

And if you have both Anya and Cordelia in the house:
Depending on the timeline you choose(pre Wedding/post almost-wedding), let them either get into a huge fight about Xander because Anya is jealous, or gang up on him because he scorned them.

Based on the above quote, write some sort of CV/characterisation for Spike!
