Also, while I don't know the average age of your beta readers, I'm 36 (female), married twice, with a daughter and a business, so I have some life experience under my belt and can point out (with tact) when a particular character, as developed by Whedon, is being portrayed totally out of context. About how long it'd take to return the story: Depending on the day it was handed over to me (weekday or weekend), 2-5 days. It would also depend on how much input the author wanted - just casual typos and bad grammar or the kind of editing which goes on in the book industry (I've been there and it's a big difference) |
