Version 17.0: Final Moments

Used: May 28, 2003 - Present

How: Probably my favorite layout that is this style (I know I say that every new layout...but this one really clicked the minute I looked at the final product.) It's a collage of the final moments between Buffy and Spike from "Touched," "End of Days," and "Chosen." The manipulation is just something to have on the side, but it's one that I really liked (I love the photos from SMG's shoot) and the navigation was done through the quotes at the top. Fonts used are Scriptina, Whisperwrite, and Micro.

Version 16.0: To Every Beginning, There Is an End

Used: April 15, 2003 - May 28, 2003

How: This is another one of those collages of all the moments Buffy and Spike have shared. I loved this one...tried to pick all of their most defining moments over the course of the show's history. And the image on the left is a manipulation I've used before...I thought it could represent the future of the couple. I tinted everything shades of purple, green, and blue. The fonts used were violation and DearJoe

Version 15.0: True Blue

Used: March 8, 2003 - April 15, 2003

How: This was created by taking a lot of my older, already seen manipulations and combining them all together. Also, this is the first time I've used brushes to get the look underneath the text. I tinted everything blue/navy/green to get that look. The font used is HansHand.

Version 15.5: Touch of Green

Used: March 8, 2003 - Present

How: This was created by taking the season 3 Buffy/Angel shots and turning them into B/S. The fonts used are Snowblind and Harvey. Then, I tinted everything a green/blue to get the look.

Version 14.0: Just the Two of Us

Used: January 18, 2003 - March 8, 2003

How: This wasn't a very difficult layout...the hardest part was getting the tints/contrasts looking equal. These are two different manipulations that I made at different times. I took these two manipulations and blew them up and added them together. The fonts used are Mistral and something else (Need to go back and look up the name).

Version 13.0: Viewer's Choice II

Used: December 23, 2002 - January 18, 2003

How: Just like the 1st Viewer's Choice, my visitors got to choose which past layout should be put up again or kept up for another month or so. Immediately, "Memories Make the Heart Grow Fonder" and "Lean on Me" were the most popular, so I decided to combine the two into a layout for the site. Fonts used are Scriptina and New Romantics

Version 12.0: Memories Make the Heart Grow Fonder

Used: November 13, 2002 - December 23, 2002

How: This layout was fairly simple, but I tinted and changed the hues around to get a brighter, more vivid color. The original Buffy and Spike image is with James Marsters and Emma Caulfield from the Alloy shoot. The fonts used are Scriptina and Dear Joe.

Version 11.0: To Be With Me

Used: October 12, 2002 - November 13, 2002

How: This is probably my hardest version yet. I have a mixture of Bluecake, Carpenter ICG, DearJoe, and Note This used on this layout with three different sets of manipulated images. (Check out the Artwork section for the individual looks) Plus, this is the first time I've ever tinted an image. I titled this version "To Be With Me" because of the line from "Beneath You" but I wanted it to go along with something happier -- in this version, Buffy and Spike are together like they should be!

Version 10.0: Untitled

Used: August 31, 2002 - October 12, 2002

How: The fonts I used are Violation and Scriptina with Av-Quest and Skater-dudes on the splash image. It's my first attempt at using two manipulated images together. To do this, I took the image of James Marsters and Mercedes McNab (Harmony) and replaced her with an image of Sarah from the season 5 shoot. In the foreground, I took an image of James from the season 6 photo shoot and placed him behind an image of Sarah from a Glamour shoot. I mostly love my splash image, which is from season 2. To view the original manipulations, check out the Artwork page.

Version 9.0: Lean on Me

Used: July 24, 2002 - August 31, 2002

How: Another manipulated graphic from the 6th season promo shoot (For James) and one of the 5th season promo shoots (For Sarah). It's my first time using an image map for navigation, and I think it solves problems for some people. The font used is Scriptina (I LOVE this font!) and I switched many images to .png to keep them clear.

Version 8.0: Reflections

Used: July 7, 2002 - July 24, 2002

How: This was my first manipulated graphic (that I was proud of anyway) and my first time using a java-script applet. The image was plain, but c'mon -- it was my first one! However, a lot of people had problems viewing the splash graphic, which was java, and again, I just got tired of having to deal with it. This version didn't last long.

Version 7.0: Out of My Mind

Used: May 25, 2002 - July 6, 2002

How: This version was dedicated to Buffy and Spike from "Out of My Mind," from 5th season, plus I also thought that it reflected on what had been going on between them in mid-6th season. Unfortunately, people had a lot of problems viewing the navigation at the bottom right beneath the image. I enjoyed this version but too many people were having problems that I got tired of it.

Version 6.0: Kiss (Viewer's Choice)

Used: March 25, 2002 - May 24, 2002

How: People who visit my site got to vote on their favorite past version of 1 - 5. This one won by a landslide. Kiss was originally version 3.0, but I changed some graphics since there was more content and a larger archive. I also learned some new HTML codes to get the fading image on the splash page.

Version 5.0: Live in the Now!

Used: Unknown - March 24, 2002

How: This version showed off Buffy and Spike in 5th and 6th season, giving the version that title. I wanted something recent on the site instead of something from season 2. The image had a wave texture on it and I hated it after about 5 days. The reason the starting date is unknown is because this version was up after the domain problems and I wasn't sure when I switched versions.

Version 4.0: Now and Then

Used: January 1, 2002 - Unknown

How: For the first time, I used the squares as navigation instead of a list down the side. The image had a bumpy texture on it and showed Buffy and Spike from season 2 through "Smashed," giving the version the title "Now and Then." Up to that one, it was my favorite version. The reason the ending date is unknown is because this version was up during the time when I attempted to get a domain and the site shut down.

Version 3.0: Kiss

Used: November 22, 2001 - December 31, 2001

How: The first version I actually liked. I finally started to really understand how my graphics program worked. The layout featured my best graphics up to then. The navigation was on the left side over the "Tabula Rasa" collage. This was my last version created with Trellix before I bought MS FrontPage so I could work with HTML.

Version 2.0: A Lighter Shade of Blue

Used: November 6, 2001 - November 22, 2001

How: I changed the background but kept the same layout as in version 1.0. I created new pictures...still didn't completely understand the graphics program I use, so the images were still very basic. The new colors were light blue and a white font. I kept using Trellix Web, but it was starting to limit my HTML knowledge. As with version 1.0, I was mostly concentrating on the content of the site -- not graphics.

Version 1.0: Blue and Gold

Used: September 9, 2001 - November 5, 2001

How: This was my first 'shipper site ever. I created this version with Trellix Web, a very simple and easy to use program. The colors I used were bright blue with a gold font. The menu was on the left with updates on the main page. This was before I cared about graphics, all I was interested in was content.
