Part 1

"Hey Angel, are you brooding again?" Cordelia stared at Angel as he sat in his office in the dark. "Don't you think that..AAAH!" Cordelia dropped to the floor from the vision she was having.

"What did you see?" Angel asked, while Wesley went to get some water for her.

"Hello!! I just had a mind-numbing vision, right about now, but it's nice to know you care!" She snapped.

"Look Cordelia, I need to know what you saw." Angel asked her calmly, as he sighed quietly to himself.

"Okay, it was slimy demon with horns and he was attacking this girl and did I mentioned that he was really gross looking too?"

Back in Sunnydale...

Giles and the rest of the Scooby Gang were at his home, talking about the demon, Buffy had just killed.

"Giles, I don't think it's going to come back." Buffy said from the couch where she was sitting with Riley.

"Well, to make sure, I'll check the-the books." Giles reached out for the book on the self.

Just then the phone rang and as Giles went up to pick up the phone, Buffy and the gang were watching T.V., while Spike was complaining in the back.

"Hey Willow, how's was the Wiccan group?" Buffy asked.

"Oh, it was all talk and--"

"Ummmm...Buffy can you come here for a second, it's Cordelia." Giles interrupted.

As Giles gave her the phone, she could someone sniffling and crying in the back.

"Hello."

"Buf-Buffy? I-I-I am so sorry, but-but--"

"What's wrong Cordy? Did something happened to Angel?" Buffy was getting worried from the thought of something terrible happened to Angel.

"He-He-umm, went out to fight th-this demon and-and--" she gasped out. Cordelia broke off crying again.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" Buffy practically screamed at Cordelia.

"He's dead, Buffy."

Part 2

"Wh-what!?! That's not true! How-what happened?" Buffy stammered, shocked that Angel was dead.

"I-I got this vision about a de-demon, and when An-Angel was fighting the demon. These guys in army suits came after Angel. Wesley and I-I tried to help him but it was too late, one of the army guys killed him while he-he was fighting the demon." Cordelia cried out.

"Oh my God..." Buffy softly said. "He's really gone."

"Wait, army guys..." Buffy muttered.

"Buf-Buffy. Buffy! Are you there?" Cordelia yelled into the phone.

"Can I talk to you later? Bye." Buffy said, as she hung up the phone.

Buffy turned and stared at Riley.

"Hey Buffy, what's wrong?" Riley asked, from the couch.

"It was you. Wasn't it?" Buffy said in a soft voice.

"What are you talking about?"

"Answer me!! Did you kill Angel?" Buffy yelled, getting angrier and angrier.

"What? Oh, you mean, that vampire. Yeah I did, but why do you care, he was a vampire, Buffy." Riley told her.

Suddenly, everyone looked at Riley, including Spike.

"What?" Riley said, confused that everyone was looking at him.

"You killed Angel, Riley." Willow said. "But Why?"

"He was a vampire. They are evil, since when did you start to care about them." "Riley yelled out, furious that they actually cared about this vampire.

"You Bastard! Angel was different from them. He had a soul!" Buffy screamed at Riley.

"Oh, and that makes it okay, to be friends with him. Buffy, he was a vampire.." Riley retorted.

As Riley said those words, Buffy came up and punched him in the face.

"Get the hell away from here! Get out! GET OUT!" Buffy screamed, as the tears started to roll down her cheeks.

"But-but, Buffy.."

"GET OUT!"

Quietly, Riley left. When Buffy turned around, she saw the shock on the faces of the Scooby Gang and Spike.

"What happened?" Giles asked.

After Buffy told them how Angel got killed, She got up slowly and went towards the door.

"Wait, Buffy, where are you going?" Willow asked, worried that she might do something drastic.

"LA"

Part 3

"Shouldn't we go after her?" Xander questioned Giles. "I mean she shouldn't be outside in that condition."

"No, I think, right now, the best thing to do is give her time and leave her alone to think this through." Giles answered.

As Buffy stepped outside, she caught a cab and went to LA. During the car ride, she fell asleep and started to dream.

She saw flashes of her and Angel, but he was human.

"A normal girl falling asleep in the arms of her normal boyfriend."

Fighting the Mohra demon to save Angel.

"I'm guessing they were out of fresh OJ at the Deli."

"I felt your heart beat."

"I asked the Oracles to give back the day."

"It's not enough time."

"I will never forget. I will never forget."

Buffy woked up surprised. She wiped the tears on her face and softly said. "I remember."

Cordelia looked around Angel's room, thinking how much she missed him. "First, Doyle, and now Angel. It seems that all my best friends are dying. Well, except for Wesley, but he doesn't really count."

"Cordelia, are you okay?" Wesley asked from the doorway.

"Ummm, yeah. Gosh, I wonder how Buffy is doing? I mean, she was pretty shocked, when I told her on the phone."

Wesley and Cordelia sat around in Angel's office, when they heard a soft voice coming from outside.

"Hello. Cordelia? Wesley? Are you guys in here?"

"Buffy?" Cordelia got up and went towards the door to meet the petite blond. "How are you doing?"

When she got to the door to greet Buffy, the smile on her face quickly disappeared after seeing the puffy eyes and the tears streaming down her face.

"Oh, Buffy are you okay?" Cordelia went up the give her a hug.

"Yeah, I'm doing fine, but I got to ask you a question. Did Angel tell you about the time when he turned human?" Buffy asked.

"Oh my gosh. You remember. Wh-how did you find out?"

"I had a dream about it. I can't believe him, Cordelia. He gave up his humanity for me and what did I do to him the next day. I walked out like nothing happened." As she broke down crying again.

Cordelia bend down next to her, trying to comfort her. "Hey, it's okay, you didn't know."

"Hello? Buffy?"

When Buffy and Cordelia looked up to see who it was, they realized it was Riley.

Part 4

"Wh-Riley? What are you doing here? Did you followed me here? Didn't I tell you to leave me alone!" Buffy yelled out, rage growing inside her.

"Buffy, you don't understand. I was sorry if I seemed insensitive about the whole Angel thing, but you've got to move on. I mean, he dumped you and now you're with me." Riley tried to hug Buffy, but she stepped back in disgust.

"I suggest that you leave, before I get really pissed and kill you, Riley." Buffy threatened him.

"But Buf-"

Suddenly, Buffy's leg came out and kicked him in the stomach. "I told you to leave."

Riley quickly got up, holding his stomach in pain and before he went, Riley said "You'll regret this, Buffy. Even a vampire isn't worth all this pain he's causing you." And left.

"I hate that guy." Cordelia stated bluntly.

"Cordelia, you know how to reach the Oracles, right?" Buffy asked.

"Yeah, follow me, but first, we have to get them a gift. Here." Cordelia picked up a vase from the desk.

Cordelia and Buffy went to the post office where the Oracles were, and after Cordelia did the spell, Buffy went inside.

"What have you brought us, lower being?" the male Oracles asked the slayer.

Buffy tossed the vase to them. "I want you to bring Angel back." She demanded.

"The vampire with a soul? What's been done, cannot be undone. I'm sorry but we can't bring Angel back from the dead."

"But, he's your warrior. Isn't he supposed to fight evil? He didn't give humanity for nothing." Buffy argued

"The girl remembers." The female Oracle whispered to the male one.

"But we can't bring him back. It's already been done." The male Oracles turned to Buffy. "We cannot do what you requested. Go now."

Buffy was then brought back outside, where Cordelia was waiting. "They said no." Cordelia stated.

"Yeah." As she and Cordelia walked back to Angel's home.

"Cordelia, can you leave me alone for a while? I want to see Angel's room and think for a while." Buffy asked, when they arrived.

"Sure, but if you need anything, Wesley and I will be up here."

"Thanks."

Buffy came downstairs and into Angel's room. She wandered around the house and came into the kitchen. She remembered when Angel was human and the table they broke. "Damn it Angel! Why did you leave me here alone? I thought that you were here for me, forever! Why did you had to die!?!" She screamed into the empty room, sobbing uncontrollably. "I thought you wanted me to be happy."

After a while, she got off the floor where she was sitting and walked to Angel's bed and lied down. When she was about to fall asleep, Buffy heard a crash coming from the kitchen. She slowly got up and went to the room. Carefully, she picked up a stake and when she arrived in the kitchen, Buffy saw no one there. "Okay, whoever you are, come out and fight!' She yelled out loud.

Suddenly, a tall, dark, spiked haired vampire came out of the shadows.

"Hello, Lover." He grinned.

Part 5

"Angelus, what are you doing here? Didn't Angel die?" Buffy replied coldly.

"What? No welcome hug? AWWW. I'm hurt Buff, I thought you missed me." He chuckled. "Oh, well, killing you would be better." Angelus growled and punched Buffy in the face. She countered him by kicking him in the stomach.

"Tell me again, how did you come here?" She demanded, as her fist connected with his face, and making him crash into the table. She came towards the table where Angelus was lying on the broken pieces of wood.

"Let's just say I missed you down there." He answered from the ground. He rose up and kicked her again, which caused her to smash into the wall. "Now *that* felt good!"

"I'm going to kill you." Buffy yelled out. She jumped into the air and with her feet she kicked him in the chest again.

"I see you've been practicing." He said, as Angelus and Buffy circled each other, waiting for one of them to make the first move.

"Wesley, did you hear something downstairs?" Cordelia asked.

"I don't think so." Suddenly, another crash came. "Maybe we should go and check on Buffy." Wesley replied.

As Cordelia and Wesley arrived downstairs, they saw Buffy and Angel fighting. "You guys, stay back" Buffy warned them, as she tried to keep Angelus busy, but it was too late he escape and grabbed Cordelia.

"Come closer Buff, and she dies." He threatened.

"Buffy, hurry up and help." Cordelia whimpered.

Buffy looked at Angelus and Cordelia, trying to figure out a plan. She didn't want to kill Angelus, because Willow, can recurse him, but she also didn't want Cordelia to die or get hurt. Then, Buffy glanced at Wesley, thinking maybe he could try to grab Cordelia, while she distracted Angelus. Suddenly, Wesley came behind Angel and tried to hit him, but Angel turned around. As he bent down to suck him dry, Buffy knew that this was her chance. "If I don't kill him now, then Wesley or Cordelia is going to die." Buffy thought. She ran quietly to Angelus' back, and raised her stake. "I'm sorry." She whispered, as she slammed the wooden stick onto his back, and into his heart.

Part 6

"Oh my gosh.. was that Angel?" Cordelia asked, surprised. "Isn't he dead though?"

"That was Angelus. I don't know how that happened. I mean, one minute I was crying, but I heard a noise in the kitchen. So I went to see who it was, and then Angelus appeared. He wouldn't tell me how he came back, but now he's gone. Dead." Buffy explained. "There's no way getting him back."

"Hey it's okay. We'll make it through this." Cordelia said, trying to cheer Buffy up. Then she looked up. "Wait, where's Wesley?"

"Angelus threw him across the room." Buffy realized that Wesley probably was badly hurt. She and Cordelia ran over to where Wesley was lying.

"Wesley, are you okay?" Cordelia asked.

"Ummm, yeah. I just have a major headache right now." Wesley replied, as he got up from the floor. "Is Angelus gone?"

"Yes." Buffy said softly.

"But-but, how did he get here in the first place?"

"That's the big question. We all don't know." Cordelia yelled out from the kitchen.

"Well, I might be able to help you."

***********************************************

"What?" Buffy turned around, seeing Angel in the doorway. "Angel."

"Yeah, it's me."

"Ho-how?"

"Hey Buffy, who are you talking to?" Cordelia asked, as she came into the living room. Suddenly, she saw Angel. "AAAHHHHH....Back away, Angelus!" Holding up a cross.

"Relax Cordy, it's me. Angel"

"Angel? Okay, it's getting weird now." Cordelia said, as she lowered the cross.

"Angel. Is this really you?" Buffy asked, with hope filling up in her eyes. Angel turned and smiled at Buffy. "Yes. I came back."

Buffy squealed and ran to Angel, where she rained kisses all over his face. "I can't believe you came back. I missed you so much." She said, as the tears were streaming down her face.

"Yes. But how?" Wesley asked, interrupting them.

Everyone sat down on the couch and Angel began to tell them what happened.

"Well, when Buffy left the Oracles, they felt really bad for her. So they decided to give her a test, by bringing back..."

"Angelus." Buffy finished. She looked up at Angel, giving him a kiss, as the kiss became passionate, Wesley interrupted.

"Yes. But why Angelus?" Wesley asked Angel. "Couldn't they bring a demon for her to defeat."

"I guess, but they wanted to see if she was strong enough to kill Angelus, to save the world. And she did, so here I am." Angel said.

"Human too." Buffy yelled out happily.

"Well, I'm glad you're back. We should leave you two alone now. Let's go Wesley." Cordelia and Wesley got up and left the couple alone.

"I missed you so much. I couldn't believe that you actually died." Buffy whispered into his chest.

"But I'm back, with my vampire strength, to help you fight and we can be together now." Angel said, as he kissed her.

"I love you." Buffy murmured from his arms.

"I love you too."
